It’s been all baby all the time around here, but there have been developments in my horsey life too! At the end of October, I moved Rosie to a new barn. This is our fourth barn since I bought her two years ago, but I really think we’ll be sticking around this one. She is literally FIVE minutes from my front door, which is closer than I have ever had a new horse in my entire life.
The barn is beautiful — it’s up on a mountain with views all the way to the ocean and sunsets to die for. There are big arenas, lots of amenities including a short trail right out the back, and great trainers ranging from reining to western pleasure to jumping. Rosie has a 12 x 36 stall that’s fully covered, which is great considering we’re expecting a lot of rain this “winter”. And best of all, my friend is there too, so I have someone to ride with. I’m excited to see what 2016 will bring for us!
