I’m up in the office for a business trip this week, and my San Francisco coworkers got me a birthday cake! It’s already been devoured by everyone else since I’m not eating sugary foods anymore, but I had the honor of slicing it and handing out the pieces to everyone.
This week I am trying out going full paleo to see how it makes me feel and whether or not it’s sustainable. I already messed up because I just ate a quiche that I thought was crustless but wasn’t…but the rest of the week I’m going to do my best to remain paleo/gluten free and see how it goes. I’m excited because I just realized that there is a 24 Hour Fitness across the street from my hotel so I can complete day 2 of week 3 of Couch to 5k tonight after happy hour at work. I might also stop into a spinning or Zumba class this week if I’m feeling particularly adventurous. We’ll see how that goes…
It might be tricky to be paleo this week since I’m not at home and able to cook for myself, but my work’s lunch catering has paleo-friendly options and I can pick dinner restaurants that have options suited to paleo. I am not necessarily fully committed to paleo yet, but I want to give it a try to see if it’s right for me and my body.---------------
